Task 1B - Part 2: Recoloring Black and White

Exercise 1

I followed the instructions given and was able to use the overlay and masking tools well.

Exercise 2A

It took me some time to mask the hair because I had to be more precise compared to before. I got used to using the masking function for all the detailed edges in the picture.

Exercise 2B

After the previous two exercises, I became more adept at recoloring. I chose to color the background to make it seem more like there were seats behind him.

Reflection

This exercise was quite fun to me, it was satisfying to see black and white images come to life when adding color.  I am able to use masks, overlay, and blending modes more adeptly now.
