Project 2A Double Exposure

Part 1

For this exercise, I followed the tutorial given and was able to apply the different techniques explained. I learned how to use a gradient map and masking more in-depth.

Part 2

After following the tutorial, I felt that I could explore further with different types of pictures. I took a picture of myself and added pictures of mountains and flowers for double exposure. It was a lot easier the second time around.

Reflection

Learning how to do double exposure wasn't super hard. It applied tools and techniques we've learned before in a new way. It's definitely a useful technique and can be used in future projects. Taking pictures of myself and scrutinizing how to pose and look at the camera is still awkward. However I do think it helped me gain more confidence in front of cameras.
