Exercise 1A: Smint Commerical

Week 1 - 29/08/2023

The task was to download footage, import footage into Premiere Pro, and arrange shots on a timeline in a proper order. In this exercise, the footage was numbered correctly and the goal was to learn how to insert footage.

Exercise 1B: Doritos Commerical

Week 1 - 29/08/2023

The task was to download footage, import footage into Premiere Pro, and arrange shots on a timeline in a proper order. In this exercise, the footage was numbered incorrectly and the goal was to learn how to arrange footage.

Exercise 2A: Shooting Practice (Framing)

Week 2 - 05/09/2023

The task was to go around campus in pairs during class and shoot a set of specific shots. Me and my friend Fariha took turns taking shots trying our best to follow what we had learned in class. Then I imported the footage into Premiere Pro, arranged it, trimmed each clip to 5 seconds, and added captions. Also, I learned from the video Mr. Martin sent us, that you can add default transitions using Shift + D.

Exercise 2B: Editing (Lailin)

Week 2 - 05/09/2023

The task was to go through the footage provided, and then trim and arrange it according to the storyboards given. After that, I trimmed it to 35 seconds sharp, as instructed by Mr. Martin. Lastly, I added graphics, transitions, and background music.

Exercise 3: Three-Act Story

Week 3 - 12/09/2023

The task was to watch 2 videos and write down their 3 acts and plot points.
