Task 2: Art Asset Development

Students will be given the task to produce the art asset for their games. This includes characters, environment, items, props, obstacles, powerups and HUD design.

Design Development

For most of this task I researched on how to make game characters, what sizes, poses, etc. Since my enemies were mutated crops I tried to give them a strong silhouette. Unfortunately I didn't have that much time so I only made 2 enemies instead of 3.

I have the Idle, Run, and Attack animation for my player. For my enemies the Idle and Attack were completed. For Death and Hit I just decided to utilize unity's animator to make a simple animation. For my other game assets I used this tile set and some background images I found online.

Reflection

Overall
This module was just so hectic and chaotic I genuinely did not have the time to make all the assets by myself. I really wish I could've because I was excited about making this game at first, but the super heavy workload is really tough.
